i care for you, in all ways, even if there are days when you don't even recognize yourself anymore.

i'm staying, coz leaving you is out of the question. you were never a passerby, or just a "someone" in my life. you are the one who made me see what "unconditional" means. 

the day you let me in was also the day i swore that i'll do everything to make you feel the love and care you deserved.  

with me, you don't have to hide, you don't have to pretend or try to be okay.

when your chest is full, you can unload and i will listen, with no judgment, no rebuttals, or resolutions.

when you're feeling your worst, when you say hurtful words or do cruel things, i will understand.

i will still love the imperfect you, the sad you, the angry you, the scarred you. The you, who have seen and felt more than her fair share of pain, betrayal, and heartbreak.

i will never grow tired of protecting you. 

I will never make you feel invalidated, never insignificant.

i will never make you feel doubt or afraid that anytime i'll leave.

i will continue to love you in ways that people may not understand.

i will continue to choose you in ways that people can't. 

i will always, always, be there if you need a little source of HOPE.

and when your faith gets tested -- when it takes everything you have to hold on, i will find your proof. 

i will believe in you when you start to lose belief in yourself. Especially then.

because i trust that there is more to this life and in living. 

and my hope is that you fall in love with being alive, and being yourself again.

so that if i'm lucky enough, I will be there and witness you live the rest of your best life.

even if it means being the one left when this journey ends, you are worth every bit of it.

And I know, I may never be able to give you everything you deserve in this lifetime, but i'll spend the rest of your life trying. 💛
